Local SEO and Google Maps optimization for businesses that want to be found by nearby customers — done for you, or as a kit you run yourself.
SeoRanking.us is a local SEO practice that helps businesses show up when nearby customers search — in Google Search, on Google Maps, in Bing, and increasingly inside AI assistants. It works two ways: our team runs the local SEO for you, or you buy a DIY SEO kit and run the same process yourself.
Enquiries go to James Henderson directly, by phone on 832-338-2926 or by email at hello@seoranking.us.
What we provide
Two delivery models, one method behind both. Everything below links to the page that describes it in full.
Done-for-you local SEO
10 published services covering Google Business Profile, Bing Places, Google Maps ranking, citations, reviews, local keyword research, service and city pages, and AI search visibility.
Downloadable kits with checklists, worksheets, AI prompts, templates, and 30/90-day plans, organised by city and business type. One-time PayPal payment, plus an interactive workbook for buyers.
For most of the last decade, local SEO meant one thing: get the page to rank. That is still necessary and it is no longer sufficient. Customers now ask complete questions, and get answers assembled by machines that may never show them a link at all.
So we work across four disciplines rather than one. Your website should not only rank — it should be understandable, trustworthy, citable, and ready for AI-assisted discovery. What we will not do is promise that any of it produces a citation or a mention, because those decisions belong to systems nobody outside them controls.

Search Engine Optimization
What it is
SEO, or search engine optimization, is the work of making a website easy for a search engine to crawl, understand, index, and rank. It covers the technical health of the site, the clarity of its content, the way its pages link together, and the signals that suggest the business is real and well regarded.
AEO, or answer engine optimization, is the work of structuring content so a system that returns a direct answer, rather than a list of links, can locate the relevant passage and present it. The unit of work is the individual answer, not the whole page: one page can hold a dozen answers, and each has to make sense on its own.
GEO, or generative engine optimization, is the work of making a business clear enough, consistent enough, and well-evidenced enough that a generative system composing an answer describes it correctly. It is about being understood and attributed accurately, which is a different goal from ranking a page or being quoted verbatim.
WebMCP is an emerging approach that lets a website declare a small, explicit set of capabilities an AI agent may discover and use, instead of leaving the agent to guess by reading the page. Each capability states what it does, what it needs, and what it returns, and anything that changes data requires confirmation first.
The national services above are available anywhere in the United States. Alongside them we publish 11 dedicated city hubs, each with its own locally-researched issues, neighborhood guides, industry pages, and city-specific kits.
Most of the damage we are asked to undo was caused by shortcuts. These four limits are the reason our work takes longer and holds longer.
No guaranteed rankings
No agency controls Google or Bing results, and promising a specific position breaks Google's own guidelines. We commit to the work and to honest reporting on what changed, not to a placement.
No fake reviews, ever
We never write, buy, trade, or incentivise reviews. Review work here means asking real customers at the right moment and making it easy for them to respond.
No fake locations or listings
We do not create Google Business Profiles at addresses a business does not occupy, and we do not build keyword-stuffed profile names. Both risk suspension of the profile the business depends on.
Content a human would want to read
City and neighborhood pages are written to be genuinely different from one another. A page whose only distinguishing feature is a swapped city name is a doorway page, and we do not publish them.
Company details
Published facts about this business, kept in one place so they stay consistent everywhere they appear.
SeoRanking.us helps local businesses get found in nearby search. That covers two things: done-for-you local SEO and Google Maps work managed by our team, and downloadable DIY SEO kits that a business owner can run themselves.
Who is SeoRanking.us for?
Local businesses that serve customers in a defined area and depend on nearby search to be found — trades, restaurants, clinics, salons, professional services, and similar. It is a poor fit for national e-commerce brands with no local footprint.
Who will I actually talk to?
James Henderson handles enquiries directly. You can call 832-338-2926 or email hello@seoranking.us, and you will reach a person rather than a ticket queue.
Does SeoRanking.us guarantee first-place rankings?
No. Ranking guarantees are not possible to honour and offering them breaks Google's guidelines. We report on the work performed and on the measurable changes that follow it.
